Jamorama With Ben Edwards - Review

Jamorama Guitar Lessons - Review
from Jamorama.com

Product description

Ben Edwards - creator of Jamorama -is a guitar playing professional who once played with the Australian band ‘DegreesK’. He has years of experience with playing live and in person in concerts and in music videos.

Additionally, he has 20 years of hands-on-training experience with students of all learning types. He has taken this experience and expertise and has devised a very thorough and well recognized online guitar training program that has gained a great deal of recognition and following over the past few years.

Ben makes the assumption that his students know absolutely nothing about guitar playing and music. By doing this he can get down on the level of the beginner and can teach them to play guitar in the most simplistic manners. In fact, his simple lessons can have a beginner playing brief riffs within five minutes.

With the layman’s approach that the course takes, there's certainly been some "debate" over his style within the online guitarcommunity (with the only real issue being "proper theory vs. sounding awesome")

About the course:

Jamorama is an extensive online guitar training course that includes the following lessons and training tools: a 252 page lesson book containing 44 chapters, and ear training game called GuitEarIt!, a learn to read music game, Guitar Tuner Pro Software, Jamorama Metronome, and a vast archive of video guitar lessons.

This wide variety of tools are perfect for all learning styles and has proven effective for thousands of students who have turned to Jamorama and Ben Edwards to learn how to play the guitar.

Additionally, you can optionally download the entire program moments after ordering. (No waiting a few weeks for the course to arrive in the mail...)

Product Research

For the price, Jamorama is about as good as it gets.

There's a monstrous amount of easily-digestible lessons, tutorials and tools for beginners and intermediates and the bonuses actually feel like they're - well - a bonus. (Rare these days - especially for digital products).

The general online user-consensus is very positive. There's the odd complaint about video formats and other more-technical issues, but aside from the rare complaint here and there, it's not hard to see that from a "value for money" perspective, Jamorama takes the cake in the world of online guitar training.

Hands down.

Actual Customer Feedback

I would recommend Jamorama... after the first couple of days after learning the intro to smoke on the water and a riff from iron man I was in a rut, jamorama has helped me a lot in just 5 days. Good luck! The first time you play a perfect riff... is really indescribable. ~ Excerpt cited froma user comment on the GuitarWorld.com forum
I got a program called Jamorama that really helped me. I think it is a really good starting point for someone who has never played guitar before. ~ Excerpt cited from a user comment on Ultimate-Guitar.com
My favorite part of Jamorama is that Ben has made and included jam tracks that you begin playing along with in the second or third lesson. These really help build confidence as you feel really good about playing the rhythm along with other musicians and actually creating a real song. ~ Excerpt cited from a user comment on Ultimate-Guitar.com
I use Jamorama, great for the basics and i like the style of teaching well worth the money at the early stages. ~ Excerpt cited from a user comment on GuitarForBeginners.com

If you're a beginner or a "beginner intermediate" - for the price and how much you get - Jamorama is a pure no brainer.
